Wow, it has been 2 years since we last posted. I just looked at the date. I posted 18 days before my mom passed away. So much change has occurred in our family since April 18, 2018. We moved into a new home. The kids started new schools. My childhood home has a new family living in it. My dad has a new home. I work in a new location. My hubby and I have a new business. Due to Covid, there has been a lot of family togetherness and lots of new opportunities to choose love and affection vs strife.

New can be exciting, sad, or scary. New can remind of where you failed in the past. New can remind you of what you missed. New can also stretch you and hone you and prune you.

The great thing is, there is no wrong way to do something new. All of it is learning. God will work it all for good. If He brings you to it, He will bring you through it. One day, everything will be new. For now, embrace the new things God is doing.

What is something new in your life?

Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing: now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
